Biography
Dr. Maria Pilar Servent Saenz is an Interventional Radiologist at Hospital Insular de Canaria, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
She completed her medical degree in 2011 and finished her residence in radiology in 2016.
Dr. Saenz spent all of her last year in radiology training in the angiography room, because she had decided that she would like to be in IR. She also obtained a grant for a fellowship programme in Spain to improve her IR kwonledge.
Today, Dr. Saenz is working in a mixed group of six IRs (where she is the only woman) in Hospital Insular de Gran Canaria where all of them perform peripheral and neuro interventions.
