Mohammad Arabi is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at the King Abdulaziz Medical City and King Abdullah. Specialized Children Hospital, National Guard Health Affairs, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Arabi earned his medical degree from Damascus University in Syria and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. Dr. Arabi received fellowship training in interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic neuroradiology at the University of Michigan, and he is American Board Certified in diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, and vascular medicine. Dr. Arabi has been a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in United Kingdom since 2007 and was awarded a fellowship from the Pan Arab Interventional Radiology Society (PAIRS) in 2017.

Dr. Arabi is the founder and first Editor-in-Chief of The Arab Journal of Interventional Radiology (AJIR) and serves as editor and scientific reviewer of several medical and interventional radiology journals (JVIR, Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, the Saudi Medical Journal, the Avicenna Journal of Medicine, and others).

Dr. Arabi’s main areas of interest are venous, transplant, portal hypertension, and oncological interventions.
