The PAIRS Fellows Affair Committee is a vital component of the PAIRS Society, dedicated to acknowledging and rewarding physicians who have made significant contributions to the field of interventional radiology and imaging techniques.

The committee consists of highly respected and skilled leaders in the field of interventional radiology, who bring their expertise and experience to carry on the selection of fellowship recipients. They carefully evaluate each application, taking into consideration the applicant’s educational and professional background, research experience, and contributions to the field.

Dr. Aghiad Al-Kutoubi

Dr. Al Kutoubi is the president of the Arab Board of Radiology & Medical Imaging, Editor, Middle East of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology CVIR. Dr. Al Kutoubi holds an MD from the Damascus University Faculty of Medicine 1975, DMRD Royal Colleges of Medicine & Surgery, London, UK 1980, and FRCR Royal College of Radiologists, London, UK 1982.

Dr. Al Kutoubi was a Consultant Radiologist and Senior Lecturer at the Imperial College, London University as well as a Senior Examiner at The Royal College of Radiologists.

His major interest is promoting medicine and radiology education and standards as well as the subspecialty of Interventional Radiology. He is the author of over 120 peer-reviewed publications and 7 book chapters.

Dr. Al Kutoubi is also a Founding Member of the British Arab Medical Association in UK; a Founding President of the Pan Arab Interventional Radiology Society; a Fellow of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Society in Europe. He is also a Member of several universities, National & Regional committees in the UK and most recently in Lebanon.
